The full names for the Simple Object Access Protocol SOAP (simple object communication protocol) is a protocol based on XML, which is required to compile network services after the request or response, then compiled the messages sent out to the network, it simply is a mechanism for transferring data between applications, and users. SOAP is an independent information, can operate independently in a variety of operating systems and networks above, such as operating in a Microsoft Windows or Linux under construction and can use a variety of communication methods to transfer, for example, SMTP, MIME, or HTTP. Recent W3C not survived in power for the network services agreement, W3C, in particular for SOAP version 1.2 update phase of the work is already near completion. SOAP1.2 Edition, contains a toolkit that simplifies network, this kit has many unprecedented tool version 1.1, for example, allows developers to build managed rules of SOAP message "process model", and contains easy to manage a large number of XML document features. But because the SOAP has not reached the stage of completion, W3C today only positioning the SOAP1.2 "proposed development tools for Web services". SOAP can not only operate on a different network, on the intercropping of different network transport, as shown in Figure 3, SOAP messages can be sent through HTTP, and then through TCP, MSMQ, and finally received by SMTP messages can be transferred through four different points on the way to convey information. From this we can see that the SOAP through the General characteristics and practical, far more than the General Protocol is more flexible.
