TAIPEI, Taiwan－Dassault Systemes announced that Soochow University has adopted the EXALEAD system, to develop solutions that integrate school information system and develop various applications in school management. Besides two sides are going to start industry-university cooperation program to help build up big data related learning courses in schools, training talents.
EXALEAD is an infrastructure-level search and information access platform used for both online and enterprise Search-Based Applications (SBA) as well as enterprise search.
This cooperation involved Dassault Systems, Leadtek and Soochow University, is to integrate a variety of big data of school with EXALEAD index queries and Web 2.0 core technology, to develop intelligent systems for academic affairs. Furthermore, is to create student career guidance system, learning long-term follow-up analysis, and career aptitude applications.
Bernard Parrenin, Dassault Systems Taiwan Branch Manager, said that with using EXALEAD solutions, can achieve the analysis and practice of big data for Soochow University, to enhance the operation of the school, track the effectiveness of students’ learning, or subsequent development. It also can improve accomplishments of students in study and workplace.

Soochow University has always been committed to education, hoping to teach students with the international competitiveness and global perspective. The cooperation with Dassault Systems and Leadtek ,two world-class companies, to install EXALEAD intelligent application platform, in addition to assisting the school to deepen the teaching performance, but also promote diversified industry-university cooperation programs.
Leadtek, agents of Dassault Systems EXALEAD, had biggest credit of this cooperation. Lu Kun-shan, Leadtek chairman and general manager said that with installing EXALEAD system in academic affairs for short- and long-term development and teaching curriculum establishment, can help Soochow University strengthen its teaching and big data ability, while carried out industry-academic Cooperation, which was a pioneer of Taiwan , but also the first success story of Dassault systems in academia adopted in Great China.
