Judging from the sales of Samsung GALAXY S5 and HTC M8 in March and April that has shown signs of sluggishness, now that they have reduced the price to boost its sales, S5 has lowered to NT$17 thousand, while M8 marked down to NT$16 thousand.
According to statistics, in Taiwan 70 percent of smartphone sales relied on telecommunication channels. Simply less than three months since its debut, S5 and M8 already have their pricetag 80 percent off, which proves that summer time is a good time to get these flagship smartphones.
Source said that Android smartphones ranged from the entry level to mid-tiers, its price declined will be faster than ever. Even for Apple's smartphones, which has always keep its image as high-end smartphones, as the coming debut of big screen iPhone now also are cutting price to stimulate sales of old version iPhone.
However, BenQ aims at 4G LTE market, rolled out F5 and colorful T3 smartphones, both pricetag are less than NT$8 thousand. F5 featured SONY Exmor device that can give users a better camera experience, T3 is in white, black, and green colors to lure customers.
