Has German retailer Notebooksbilliger spoiled Microsoft's slow reveal of its Arc Touch Mouse? It certainly appears so, based on photos and shipping info Engadget unearthed. If you think it looks nice up top, wait until you see the party trick.
The Arc Touch Mouse appears to have two modes: curved for ergonomic gaming, and flat for... well, there's definitely got to be a reason it can flatten. Fingers crossed it's a trackpad of some sort.
As for specs, it looks as though the mouse has touch-scrolling (which given the name, one would have hoped) and a and a 2.4GHz nano transceiver. It ships in 5-10 for $90. Assuming, of course, it's officially announced by then. [Notebooksbilliger via Engadget]

I am sure there are lots of folks out there who have repetitive stress injuries, like carpal tunnel from things like typing too much or spending excess time surfing porn and fwapping. If you have that sort of issue and need an alternative to a mouse Logitech has a new Wireless Trackball M570 that might be just for you.
The M570 looks like a mouse with a big blue ball on the side. That ball is what controls the mouse pointer on the screen and you can swirl it around using your thumb. The M570 also has a scroll wheel, two mouse buttons, and two more buttons on the side.
The wireless device connects using a nano receiver and the batteries promise up to 18 months of use per set. The M570 might also be a good thing for users who have too little workspace for a normal mouse. The M570 will work with Windows and Mac computers and can be pre-ordered for $59.99 (USD).
It would be hard to convince me to shell out $80 for Asus's WX-DL wireless touch mouse before actually holding one—I'm having flashbacks to another circular input puck here—but I can always respect a company trying something weird.
And weird it is—the aluminum 2.4 GHz WX-DL has a round body that's tilted up in the back, presumably so its butt fills your palm more naturally, and a touch sensitive circle inlaid on its top, allowing for quick four way scrolling in addition to the regular mouse action courtesy of the 1200 dpi laser sensor. The top touch pad also doubles as a set of multimedia controls.
I don't know how it would feel in your hand, but it would not look bad on your desk. The WX-DL works with Windows machines, 2000 - Windows 7, and is available now for $80. [Asus via Engadget]
