FA6 Series RISC Processors
Faraday's FA626 is an ultra-high-speed general purpose 32-bit embedded RISC processor. It consists of a synthesized CPU core, an MMU, separate caches, scratchpads, and other units. The CPU core implements the ARM v4® architecture. Configurable features are available for the caches, scratchpads and write buffer. FA626 can operate at 533 MHz (worst case) with low power consumption. Faraday's FA626 is targeted for a wide range of applications, especially those requiring ultra-high performance, low cost, and low power consumption such as home entertainment, networking and office automation applications. The single-phase clock and standard-cell-based approach make it easy to integrate into any SoC design.
